In the works

The desk is a mess and there's much going on here in the stables of Pegacorn Press. Whoa nelly! Hella projects being flushed out, but here's a little preview of what to expect in the next few months...

Zine Libs #1 & 2, Burn Collector

Yes, that's right- the sixteenth issue of Al Burian's, Burn Collector, is being put out on Pegacorn Press. Just in time for Al's east coast reading tour in April, #16 will be available on April Fools, no joke. It's an amazing issue and it's been a pleasure to work with him on this US version. There's no pre-ordering, but it once it's out, it will be available directly from him, the GET SOME page on this blog, my Etsy store, mailorder, and several distributors in the US. If you are a store or distributor that is interested in doing bulk orders, please get in touch and let's talk details.

Also, after several years in dormancy, I'm excited to announce that both issues of Zine Libs, a collaboration that I did with Erick Lyle many years ago, will be released together in one mega-blow-out of punk inspired mad libs. Think of how ridiculous your normal life is (or was)- living in collective houses, hopping trains, being chased by cops in protests- and then times that by a million as you sit with your friends laughing your ass off, filling in these Zine Libs. I've been working on re-formatting all our originals and hopefully this will be out and into the world by early March. "Fill in the blank fun with friends," will be back in action.

If you find yourself in Gainesville, Florida on February 4th, stop by the new Sequential Artists Workshop. I'll have some art up, be around for technical printing questions and comic geekery. Here's a  flier that Tom Hart threw together for the event:

If you're New York based, you'll be able to find Pegacorn Press tabling the NYC Feminist Zinefest on February 25th, as well as the Brooklyn Zine Fest on April 15th. Stop by if you're in the area and let's hangout. Both promise to be great events...

I think that's it? At least for now...
