|Blue and burgundy drums.|
|New drawing table and inspirational lounging lady sculpture.|
Another drum has arrived via Ebay, which means that there is now TWO NEW DRUMS for the new Risograph machine that I recently picked up for FREE (minus the cost of gas to grab it). What does this mean? Well, for one thing, there is now a working back-up for my trusty old Risograph and it seems to be in better working condition. Since it’s only made less than 500,000 copies, compared to the 2.5 million on my other machine, it should last quite some time.
While the details are still in the works, it looks like there will definitely be a Pegacorn Press release event in Minneapolis AND Chicago (at QUIMBY’S!!!) in the third/fourth week of September. A New York event will most definitely happen, probably around the 17th. Busy, busy planning… In any case, once all the information is totally set, I’ll make sure to post it here for sure.
In other news, I’ve started working on a satellite location for Pegacorn Press in the bicycle frame-building shop of Coast Cycles. It’s been good to get out of the house and into a new space to work, particularly one that doesn’t have the internet to keep me distracted from drawing. It’s much like urban camping in there- no running water, the roof leaks, etc, but we’re putting in some time to patch the roof, seal the holes and invent new twists on rain-water harvesting for a hand-washing sink. Hopefully, once that’s all done, Pegacorn Press can officially live there and I can have a sane bedroom again? Ha, ha- we’ll see!
There is only 11 more days of the Pegacorn Press IndieGoGo campaign, so please feel free to repost and spread the word…
